Pittsburgh Children’s Musuem Looking for Help Knitting Tree Sweaters - he Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh is launching a project for november around knitting, crocheting and weaving. it will coordinate with the Mister Roger’s Sweater Drive, which collects sweaters for needy families in the region.

the museum will be hosting a month-long series of knitting, crocheting, and weaving workshops and creating tree sweaters [look left] on the trees in front of the museum. the tree sweaters will be a collaborative art installation by folks all over pittsburgh.

Located on Penn Ave in the strip district neighborhood of Pittsburgh, this fabric shop has had going out of business signs for a while. I just took a look inside they have lots of nice fabric left. I think most is about $ 5-6 a yard. If you need vintage fabric we hope you will shop with us. If you are in need of some new upholstery fabrics this might be worth a stop.
