Back 2 School, Old School with a Nintendo Lunchbox

This little project from Instructables gets a mention on our humble little blog for a couple of reasons

1. it is awesome - I love love love old school Nintendo
2. it is recycling something that is awesome, there by increasing the coolness and saving the ninentdo from a sad future of landfill land
3. I would buy one of these if there is one for sale, if you make one and sell it on Etsy let me know!

Not Knit: Laptop Compubody Sock

I have thought about writing some blog posts about things that are not worth knitting every since I saw the knitting of socks become popular.  There have been a number of knitted items that I have seen on the internet.  This item, coincidentally a sock of sorts,  is so not worth knitting that I can’t not blog it.

While this evokes atributes of the cult favorite - the Slanket (see Slanket fans here , here, and here)- this may be one of the worst things I have ever seen come off of knitting needles.

I hope that you can find something better to spend your time knitting.  Luckily for you if you must have this item - you can buy one premade and save your knitting time for something slightly more useful.
